BBM Bikes has gone from idea to reality in less than six months.

In BBM's quest to continually improve customer service, the idea of creating BBM Bikes to supply bikes and wellness equipment directly to BBM Wellness seemed logical. Now it is functional, and delivering quality in an end-to-end service.

The BBM Group moved into their new premises this month, BBM House with the home of BBM Wellness, BBM Coaching, BBM Bikes and a satelite office for BBM Construction. The old Victorian Police Station provides a home to our new retail store, offices and theres room for further development.

Sleeplessness is a bane.  We all know the value of a good night's sleep and we're also generally fairly clued-up on how much we need individually in order to perform at our peak.

Adaptability seems to know very broad bounds - at least in the natural world.  Few Antipodeans would have believed that Wallabies would not only live, but thrive to breed in the rather chillier climate of Cornwall.   Apparently, this is indeed correct - mother and joey are doing well, if the journalists have it right.

I see that Gordon Brown has just announced that he will retire from his position of Prime Minister in the next couple of months.  I also saw a picture of him in the papers today with his wife, walking together at the weekend.  It reminded me of a couple of things:  first, that leadership is a slippery and often isolated role; second, that every leader also needs their personal support team away from the spotlight.

I was one of the lucky ones:  I was on home turf and could sleep in my own bed.  Several of my clients didn't have that luxury, being stranded in various places around the world.  Lives were disrupted, budgets stretched and, often, tempers even more.  The situation gave all of us cause to pause...and to reflect on the glaring fact that despite our preference for being in control of our actions, there are times when it simply isn't possible.

"ACS CMS" is a content management system based on Drupal. Its goal is to help users compose and present web-site content such as articles, photos, and other content types. Drupal is a "dynamic" system; rather than forcing users to specify a fixed, pre-declared arrangement of content, Drupal takes care of the details of how information is arranged and presented, and lets users focus on the actual content to be displayed.
